I hope you all enjoyed the games at Mangoplah on the weekend and are looking forward to our games at East Wagga, Gumly Oval tomorrow.

Just a reminder that there is no Under 11’s or 14’s Football and no Under 9’s,12’s or 14’s Netball tomorrow. The game times are as follows:

Football Times for Sunday 25th June 2017

Auskick Rookies: 8:45am

Auskick Pro’s 9:23am

Under 10’s: 10:01am

Under 12’s: 10:56am

Under13’s: 11:54am

Under 15’s:1:10pm

Netball Times for Sunday 25th June 2017

Under 11’s: 11am

Under 13’s: 12pm

Under 15’s: 1pm

EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR THE GIRLS!!!

I wanted to gauge your interest in being a part of the first club based Girls competition later this year. This was trialled in the South West Juniors earlier in the year and it was a huge success with Leeton Crows x 3, Griffith Swans and Narrandera eagles all getting on board.

As you know Girls AFL is becoming more and more popular. It provides these girls with the opportunity to play our great game whilst not interfering with current competition structures and of course netball.

The idea looks like this:

· WDJFNL clubs to be invited to participate as club entities: Wagga Tigers, East Wagga, North Wagga, Coolamon, CGP, Wagga Swans, Turvey Park, The Rock and Eastlakes MCU
· 12 a side Under 13’s competition and 15 a side Under 16s competition.
· Mid-week, Most likely Wednesday afternoon/nights starting in early August and finishing mid to late September
· Player Registration cost is $30.00
· AFL NSW ACT would administer the competition via Fox Sports Pulse and all players would be registered accordingly
· Umpires, timekeepers etc would be supplied

Reward/Recognition of club based teams:

· AFL NSW ACT will provide your club with new guernseys for each team you nominate. (Club based designs)
· AFL NSW ACT would also provide training footballs to each team

Obviously more specifics around dates, venues and game times would follow but firstly I need to know if you have a daughter who would be interested in helping form an Eastlakes Team.
